Commemorate Demise of Phra Arjan Luang Nui, 1st year Death Anniversary
After 2 years of sickness from tuberculosis, he pass away in 3rd January B.E. 2554_funeral held at Wat Kor Hong,Hat Yai district_Songkhla province
Demise of Phra Arjan Luang Nui, the sacred Phra Jatukam Ramathep’s consecration master, passes away from tuberculosis which forced him to leave the priesthood for the medication in Bangkok for 2 years. However, as his status didn’t get well, his relative decided to brought him back to stay at his home in Songkhla at the end of B.E. 2553, before he eventually passes away. Phra Arjan Luang Nui was one of the consecration master of the famous sacred object Phra Jatukam Ramathep, the famous sacred object of the year B.E. 2546. Afterward, he accepted the invitation to join thousand of the Jatukam Ramathep consecration ceremonies, both domestic and abroad. One of his most renowned sacred objects was the sacred object in ‘Roon Kork Sette’ – The Great Millionaire Series – in the year B.E. 2549. Lately, his news faded with the popularity of Jatukam Ramathep. His relative set up the funeral at Wat Kor Hong – of Hat Yai District, a lonely funeral which drastically contrast to his day of living with abundant disciples.
At 1300 hrs of 4th January B.E. 2554, reporter reports that Phrakru Sangkarak Pranob Titakunto or Phra Arjan Luang Nui, ex-vice abbot’s assistant of Wat Kor Hong – of Hat Yai District, Songkhla. One of the greatest consecration masters of the sacred object Jatukam Ramathep of Thailand, the renowned master worldwide, has passes away from the tuberculosis after two years of sickness. He had peacefully passed away at night of the January 3rd B.E. 2554, at his house at the Toong Sao Street, Hat Yai District, Songkhla.
For the history of Phrakru Sangkarak Pranob Titakunto or Phra Arjan Luang Nui, his layman name is Pranob Dech-Kaew Pukdee, 54 years old. He ordained since the year B.E. 2528, almost 24 Phansa / Rain Retreats in his monk hood, his highest title was ex-vice abbot’s assistant of Wat Kor Hong. He became well known at the year B.E. 2546 from supervised the magical consecration ceremony of Jatukam Ramathep, the time that sacred object of Jatukam Ramathep was most popular. He has been invited to be the Chao Pithi / Chief's consecration ceremonies in provinces around the country & even abroad in countries such as France, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, which accumulated to almost 1,000 editions of sacred object. His most famous sacred object was sacred object in ‘Roon Kork Setti’ – The Great Millionaire Series – in the year B.E. 2549.
However, after the popularity of sacred object Jatukam Ramathep had faded around the year B.E. 2550, the name of Phra Arjan Luang Nui had vanished from the sacred object community, too. Until the year B.E. 2551 to 2552, Phra Arjan Luang Nui showed the symptom of tuberculosis. He had to left his monk hood at 13th March B.E. 2553, his relative brought him to the hospital in Bangkok. Eventually, as his status become worst around the end of December B.E. 2553, his relatives decided to bring him back home which he passed away peacefully.
